Itinerary (B = breakfast, D = dinner)

Day 1 ISTANBUL Arrive at Istanbul’s airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After unpacking, time to relax and stroll around.

Day 2 ISTANBUL (B) After breakfast depart from your hotel for a guided tour of the city. This morning you will visit the church of St. Sophia the masterpiece of Byzantine architecture, the Blue Mosque famous for its six minarets and a visit to Topkapi Palace, now a world famous museum, the Mosque of Suleiman the magnificent and the Grand Bazaar, world’s largest covered market.

Day 3 ISTANBUL - CANAKKALE (B,D) After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove, Nek, Conk Bair, Lone Pine and 57th regiment memorial and the war museum, cross the dardanelles. Overnight stay in Canakkale.

Day 4 TROY - PERGAMUM - KUSADASI (B,D) After breakfast at the hotel drive to legendary to Troy: the site where the renowned Trojan War took place. Crossing the mountain Ida arrival to Pergamum visit Acropolis and Overnight stay in Kusadasi.

Day 5 EPHESUS - SIRINCE - KUSADASI (B,D) Breakfast at the hotel. A short drive to visit Ephesus and an opportunity to discover the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets, lerther. We continue to marvelous village of Sirince where you be able to experience one of the most authentic villages in Turkey. Free time for shopping and local wine tasting at the village. Return to Kusadasi for overnight stay.

Day 6 HIERAPOLIS - PAMUKKALE - MARMARIS (B,D) After Breakfast drive through the meander plain and cotton farms, arrive to Pamukkale, time to enjoy the beauty Of lime cascade and visit ancient Hierapolis, continue to Marmaris for overnight.Getting to know Turkey - 14 days

Day 7 KOYCEGIZ and GREEK KAYAKOY - FETHIYE (B,D) A full day excursion today includes visits to natural and historical sites. After breakfast, this morning we drive to lakeside town of Koycegiz. Here we take a boat cruise to turtle beach and smother ourselves in mud at the local mudbath. En route to Fethiye we’ll stop to explore the quaint Greek village of Kayakoy. Overnight Fethiye and dinner in a local retaurant.

Day 8 FETHIYE (B,D) On this day you will have the option to join a 12 island boat cruise or spend the day relaxing by the beach, or shopping in the markets of Fethiye. Overnight Fethiye.

Day 9 SAKILIKENT GORGE - ANTALYA (B,D) Breakfast at the hotel. Then proceed to stunning Saklikent Gorge, Turkey’s longest and deepest canyon. After tracking along the canyon we will continue to Antalya crossing the Tauros mountains. Dinner at your hotel overnight in Antalya.

Day 10 ANTALYA (Aspendos) - KONYA - CAPPADOCIA (B,D) After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Konya, stopping enroute at Aspendos ancient Theater and the scenic Tinaztepe sink hole and cave. Upon arrival to Konya, we tour the monastery of the Mevlana Whirling Dervishes. Then have an afternoon drive to Cappadocia via Seljuk - a fine example of an ancient Silk Road. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 11 CAPPADOCIA (B,D) After breakfast full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Kaymakli Underground City, Open Air Museum in Goreme and natural fortress in Uchisar. An optinal and fun Turkish folklore evening is available tonight. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 12 CAPPADOCIA - ANKARA - SANFROBOLU (B,D) Early in yhe morning an optional Balloon tour is available Morning departure for Safranbolu. On the wa stop by Ankara and visit Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum in Ankara. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We continue our drive and check in to our Safranbolu, the world heritage town of Unesco which is considered as an open air museum. Tonight we stay at an old ottoman mansion.

Day 13 SAFRANBOLU - ISTANBUL (B) After breakfast visit the old town of Safranbolu where you can test the fine sample of Turkish delights then continue to Istanbul for an afternoon visit of the Grand Bazaar. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 14 ISTANBUL-DEPARTURE (B) After breakfast at the hotel transfer to the airport for your departing flight home.
