Day 1 – Arrival in Rome: Eternal City Welcome
Arrive in Rome and transfer to your centrally located hotel. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the Eternal City’s piazzas, fountains, and lively streets. Overnight stay in Rome.
Day 2 – Vatican Museums & Heart of Rome (B)
After breakfast, meet your guide near the Vatican for a small group tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. In the afternoon, explore the heart of Rome, from Piazza Navona to the Spanish Steps. Note: The afternoon tour can be postponed to Day 3 upon request. Overnight stay in Rome.
Day 3 – Rome at Leisure: Colosseum & Pantheon Options (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Rome’s historic landmarks or join an optional sightseeing tour of the Colosseum, Pantheon, or Vatican City. Overnight stay in Rome.
Day 4 – Rome to Sorrento via Pompeii (B, L)
Meet your assistant at the hotel and travel by coach to Naples, then continue to Pompeii. After lunch, join a guided tour of the buried city of Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Sorrento. Overnight stay in Sorrento.
