Mediterranean Honeymoon Packages - Private, Custom, Built Around You
The Mediterranean has drawn honeymooners for generations, and with good reason. Greece's island light, Italy's coast, Tuscany's countryside, Spain's passion, Turkey's extraordinary value. The combination of beauty, history, food, and warmth of welcome is unmatched anywhere in the world.
What makes an Anemos honeymoon different from anything you'll find on a booking platform is the conversation that precedes it. We don't build a honeymoon itinerary without first understanding what kind of couple you are, what you want to come home with, and what you'd consider the trip incomplete without. That conversation shapes everything: the destinations, the properties, the pace, the private moments we arrange that you'd never think to arrange yourselves.
We have been planning private Mediterranean honeymoons since 1996. No packages. No fixed itineraries. No two the same.

Why the Mediterranean for a Honeymoon
The Mediterranean has captivated honeymooners for generations with its perfect blend of romance, beauty, luxury, and culture.
Unmatched Natural Beauty
With Crystal-clear water, dramatic coastlines, sun-drenched islands, and hilltop villages, the Mediterranean provides the most photogenic and romantically atmospheric settings in the world for a first trip as a married couple.
[H3] Food and Wine at the Centre of Everything
The Mediterranean doesn't treat food as a logistics category; it treats it as the point of the day. Shared meals that run three hours. Local wine from producers you met that morning. A table on a terrace with the sea below. This is the experience that couples remember most, and it happens naturally here.
Private Travel That Feels Effortless
A boutique hotel that knows you're arriving as newlyweds and has arranged accordingly. A private guide who builds the day around your pace, not a schedule. A restaurant table booked at the right spot because someone who knows the room made the call. These details don't happen by accident — they happen because of thirty years of relationships.
Luxury at Every Price Point
Whether you're seeking budget-friendly romance or ultra-luxury pampering, the Mediterranean offers exceptional accommodations. Stay in cliffside hotels in Santorini, private Tuscan villas, historic palazzo conversions in Venice, or boutique properties on the Amalfi Coast.
Honeymoon Destinations We Plan
Greece
Santorini for the iconic caldera sunset and cave hotels. Mykonos for glamour and beaches. Crete for authentic Greek culture and extraordinary food. Paros for something quieter and less photographed. Athens for ancient history and the best urban food scene in Greece. We know which properties have genuine sunset views and which are facing the wrong direction — that knowledge matters on a honeymoon.
Italy
The Amalfi Coast for dramatic coastal beauty and luxury. Tuscany for vineyards, private villas, and countryside romance. Rome for ancient grandeur and the best food in the country. Venice for pure atmosphere. The Cinque Terre for something more active and authentic. Sicily for couples who want Italy without the crowds.
Barcelona for Gaudí architecture, beaches, and the best tapas in the city. Andalusia and the Alhambra for Moorish romance unlike anything in the Mediterranean. Mallorca for a quieter island experience with genuine elegance. The Basque Country for couples who put food first.
Turkey
Istanbul for one of the world's great cities — Byzantine, Ottoman, and modern in one extraordinary place. Cappadocia for the hot air balloon sunrise and cave hotels that are genuinely unlike anywhere else. The Turquoise Coast for sailing and hidden coves. Exceptional value for high-quality private travel.
France
Paris needs no argument. Provence at lavender season (June–July) is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Europe. The Riviera — Nice, Cannes, Monaco — for glamour and the Mediterranean's most sophisticated coastline. Pairs naturally with Italy for a two-country honeymoon.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Mediterranean destination is best for a honeymoon?
It depends entirely on what kind of couple you are. Santorini is the most iconic choice — legendary sunsets, caldera views, genuinely extraordinary atmosphere. The Amalfi Coast is the most dramatic coastal setting. Tuscany is the most romantic for food and wine lovers. Turkey offers the most extraordinary value for the quality of experience. The honest answer is that the best destination is the one that matches how you want to spend your days — which is exactly the conversation we have before building any honeymoon itinerary.
When is the best time for a Mediterranean honeymoon?
September and October are the best overall — summer temperatures, far fewer crowds than August, lower accommodation costs, and the sea still warm for swimming. June is excellent for the islands and coast. May works well for mainland destinations and anywhere you want wildflowers and green landscapes. August is best avoided unless beach atmosphere and nightlife energy are the priority — it's the most crowded and expensive month across the entire region.
How far in advance should we book?
For peak season (July–August) at popular honeymoon destinations — Santorini, Amalfi Coast — twelve months ahead is not excessive. For shoulder season travel (May–June, September–October), six to nine months gives you access to the best properties and itinerary flexibility. The conversation with us costs nothing and can happen at any point — the earlier we talk, the more options we have.
Can we combine two or more countries?
Multi-country honeymoons are some of the most memorable itineraries we build. Italy and Greece are the most requested combination. Greece and Turkey pair two ancient cultures with exceptional contrast. Spain and Morocco combine Mediterranean Europe with North Africa in a single ferry crossing. We handle all logistics between countries, flights, transfers, border requirements, and currency, so the transition between destinations feels seamless.
What does a private honeymoon from Anemos include?
Every itinerary is different because every couple is different. Typically: hand-selected accommodations with genuine views and honeymoon arrangements made in advance, private airport transfers, pre-booked restaurant reservations at the right tables, private guides at cultural sites, inter-destination transport, and one point of contact for the entire journey. We also arrange the details you wouldn't think to arrange: the private sunset dinner, the champagne on arrival, the room setup that makes the first night memorable.
