Join us on an exclusive opportunity on a vacation to Marrakech where you will have an insider’s view of one of the world’s most highly-cherished cuisines.

Itinerary ( B = breakfast )

 
Day 1: Marrakech airport – hotel
Meet and greet at Marrakech airport then transfer to your hotel to relax. Enjoy the 
rest of the day with a local guide. The tour will begin with the world-famous Jema 
El Fna Square, which houses an array of food, snake charmers, local musicians, 
and fortune-tellers, Koutoubia Minaret, the Bahia Palace, the Saadia Tombs the old 
medina, and its souks. Dinner on your own and overnight in Marrakech.  

Day 2: Marrakech  
After breakfast, we will take a trip to a local market, or souk, for grocery shopping. 
There you will learn to bargain with local merchants, to test the ripeness of fruits 
and the freshness of spices. Optional lunch will be provided at your riad. Meet at 
5 pm with the chef to prepare for the class.  Cooking demonstration and lesson, 
followed by dinner. Overnight in the Riad 
 

Day 3: Marrakech – Ouirgane – Marrakech  
After breakfast, we will take a day trip to Ouirgane, located about 90 minutes 
away, on the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. With a gentle winter and a moderate 
summer, this heart of the Amazigh countryside is ecologically rich. Pictures of the 
abundant citrus trees rose gardens.  Afternoon cooking class with the locals, we 
learn about the artisanal dishes made in the Berber villages made during centuries 
ago before returning to Marrakech overnight.  

Day 4: Marrakech (Free Morning Time)  
You will have a free morning to explore the city on your own. Feel free to ask your 
guide for sightseeing suggestions. Enjoy an afternoon guided cooking lesson. 
Overnight in Marrakech.  

Day 5: Marrakech – Essaouira – Imintanoute – Marrakech  
After breakfast, depart for a day trip to Essaouira, where you will have free time to 
explore on your own. Although originally Portuguese, Essaouira was fortified by a 
A French-influenced architect named Vauban, and formed the settling ground for a 
large Jewish population Essaouira has become the premiere destination for artists 
and intellectuals. Lunch at the local fish place. Afternoon departs to Berber center for 
cooking class to learn the Amazigh traditional cooking.  After dinner, return to 
Marrakech for overnight. 

Day 6: Marrakech (Free day)  
Free day for last-minute sightseeing and shopping.  

Day 7: Marrakech airport                                                                      
After breakfast, we will assist you to Marrakech airport for your return flight.
