ruins in Volubilis where you will have a guided tour. Transfer to Fes overnight.

Enjoy the tour of Fes with a local guide.  The tour includes the entrance to the
biggest royal palace in Morocco. Continue the tour with a panoramic view of the old
medina, before venturing to the heart of the largest old medina in the world.
There, you will visit the Jamaa Al-Karaouine––the world’s first established

populated by European-style chalets and surrounded by a large cider forest.
Continue through Azrou to Midelt where you will stop for an optional lunch.
Transfer along the Ziz River, passing through a series of fortified villages before
getting to Erfoud. Continue through Rissani to Merzouga for dinner and overnight
in an auberge by the dunes.
NB: you can stay in a desert camp with round-trip 4x4 transfers from Erfoud.

Enjoy an optional early morning sunrise camel ride along the golden sand dunes
in Merzouga. Return to the auberge for breakfast before driving to Tinghir via

considered one of the most beautiful Kasbahs in the country. Next, visit the film
studios, where some of the most famous desert landscapes were and are still being
shot. Continue on to the spectacular fortress of Ait Ben Haddou, the iconic
landscape immortalized in such films as, Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Leave
Ait Ben Haddou to Taliouine, an Amazigh village famous for cultivating saffron.

where you may enjoy an optional lunch near the beach. Visit the birds' valley then
leave for Essaouira along the Atlantic coast. Overnight in Essaouira.

DAY 10: Essaouira – Marrakech
Enjoy most of the day at leisure in Essaouira. This relatively small, easily navigable
city is ideal for a free day. But be sure to ask your guide for some city highlights—
there are many. Essaouira has got a distinct multicultural feel, resulting from the
large Portuguese, French, and Jewish populations that once called it home. Its mild
climate and expansive stretches of ocean sand also place it among Morocco’s top
beach towns. Late in the afternoon, transfer to Marrakech for overnight.

DAY 11: Marrakech (city tour) B
After breakfast, begin the  day guided  tour  of Marrakech  with the world-famous
Jemaa el Fna Square houses an array of food, snake charmers, local
musicians, and fortune-tellers. Next, visit the Koutoubia Minaret, Bahia Palace, and
the Saadian Tombs, before going to the medina to spend free time in the souks.
Overnight in the Marrakech.

DAY 12: Marrakech – Casablanca
Enjoy the morning to relax in the hotel in  Marrakech or wander on your own.
